Dubai is trying to change the world and advance modern architecture to the next level. Awhile ago it was announced that they would be building artificial islands off the Dubai coast and the next step in that process is to start creating livable areas and homes on all of the islands. These houses are finally being finished up and are now available for people to purchase if they want a luxury getaway spot or wish to move to one of the most interesting locations in the world.

The homes are amazing just for the fact that they are floating out on the water or mini islands but also because they are partly submerged and will offer owners an underwater house. In total, 42 villas have been created that have two floors above water as well as one that goes underwater. The houses span between a cluster of six islands total and are a big draw and contributor to the entire World Island Project. The villas are a total of 1,700 square feet and will all be completed by 2017. Right now, the plan is that the houses will cost $1.3 million and be available for sale soon.

The villas are made and sold by company Privilege Dubai which is the main real estate company that has bought the properties from the developer. The man made islands are still being created and once finished will offers tons of space for massive development with the hope of creating a connected area that will be one of the most luxurious places to live in the entire world.

Dubai is continuing to push the boundaries of architecture and modern living as we know it. The World Island Project is a very creative and desirable destination that many people should flock to. Although this is only the first step, it will be amazing to see the final outcome when everything is finished.
