The $28 Million Penthouse of Joan Rivers is On the Market

Joan Rivers Apartment

A new apartment has just recently been listed in New York City, and it used to belong the the late Joan Rivers. Joan Rivers was a very well-known and respected comedian, actress, producer, and writer known for her big personality who recently passed away last year. Now her apartment is up for sale and not only it is amazing, it is a great example showing how much Joan Rivers accomplished in her lifetime as it is stunning.

The apartment is a penthouse located on 62nd street in New York City, a small ways back from Fifth avenue. Since it’s located in arguably one of the nicest parts of the city, the asking price is considerably high at $28 million dollars. As soon as one steps foot into the apartment the are immediately greeted with high-ceilings, luxury decor, and furnishings fit for royalty. This palatial-like apartment is absolutely insane and boasts eleven rooms in total. The building itself was actually built as a single mansion back in 1903, but was converted into apartment buildings in the 1930’s. Ernest Hemingway actually lived in one of the apartments for some time back in the day as well.

The apartment has 5,100-square-feet of room in total and has much to offer. In addition to the living room and dining room, the apartment offers a ballroom, a music room, five fireplaces, a library, and even an amazing terrace outside that offers incredible views. On the second floor of the apartment you will find the master bedroom suites and a separate guest bedroom complete with its own bathroom and living room. When you combine it all together there are actually four bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms in this massive apartment.

The Corcoran Group is handling the listing for this apartment and it is currently on sale with a list price of $28 million dollars. Property in New York is very desirable, and while the apartment is really expensive, I’m sure it will sell sooner than one might think.
