Mattia Cielo Debuts Carbon-Fiber Vulcano Jewelry

Mattia Cielo is an Italian jeweler famous for creating unique and daring pieces out of materials no one would previously consider. Combining these materials with diamonds or 18 karat gold has helped Cielo to stand out, and it looks like their new carbon fiber Vulcano jewelry line continues to do just that.

The line of jewelry is made from light weight carbon fiber that allows for more bold and distinct designs. The black textured pattern gives the jewelry a very modern style that is more edgy compared to other more traditional jewelry, but these pieces are still filled out with diamonds and gold.

Mattia Cielo has been heavily researching and testing the carbon fiber material which is also used in aerospace and automotive products. They even created new technology in order to bend and shape the carbon fiber into the stylistic pieces of jewelry just for this collection.

The carbon fiber jewelry is made by layering and placement into resin-lined molds, and then the pieces are polished to give it that shiny or matte look. This collection features 18 karat rose gold which is specifically placed to keep the jewelry pieces very light with as little weight as possible.

The Mattia Cielo Vulcano collection features pieces such as rings, bangles, necklaces, and chains that can double as necklaces or bracelets. The price range for these items falls anywhere between $7,000 and $48,000, but those interested will be purchasing some of the latest and most talked about jewelry to hit the market.
