The Most Expensive Fossil Watches For Men

Fossil Watches

Fossil Inc. is a well known American designer and producer of various fashion goods and accessories, but primarily concerns themselves with the production of wristwatches and jewelry for men and women. The company was founded in 1984 by brothers Tom and Kosta Kartsotis under the company name of Overseas Products International. They figured they could make a decent profit by importing various goods made in the Asia, and sell them in the United States, primarily moderately priced watches. After seeing some success they created the Fossil brand in 1990 and today they sell watches, in addition to their other products, all over the world. The company today employs over 10,000 employees and sees hundred of millions of dollars in profit. Since they started out as a watch company, we are going to examine the most expensive watches they make for men.

5. The Swiss Made Day/Date Leather Watch – $495

In the early days of 2013 Fossil wanted to produce some higher-end watches than what they normally make, so they created the “Fossil Swiss” line where all the watches are made in Switzerland. All of the watches on our list are from that line, and the first one up is the Day/Date watch with a leather strap. The watch itself is made from stainless steel that has a rose-gold tint to it which goes very nicely with the brown Vecchio leather strap. The face of the watch is blue and it simply displays the time and then has the day and date in a small window on the right side of the watches face. The watch is powered by a Swiss made battery.

4. The Swiss Made Day/Date Stainless Steel Watch – $495

The next watch on our list is the same as the watch that was previously examined, however this watch features a stainless steel band instead of a leather one, giving the watch a more “professional” feel to it. This watch also comes in two different versions: one with a blue face and one with a black face. Interestingly enough, it costs the same as the leather version.

3. The Swiss Made Chronograph Stainless Steel Watch – $695

The Swiss Made Chronograph Stainless Steel Watch features a blue watch face with the normal display in addition to 3 smaller center eyes in the watch that depict the seconds, minutes, and hours. Chronograph watches are essentially a normal watch, with a type of stopwatch builtin that can be started and stopped independently of the normal watches function.

2. The Swiss Made Automatic Leather Watch – $695

Fossil makes a few automatic watches, however their Swiss made ones are the most expensive. This watch features a tan Vecchio leather strap, polished stainless steel hardware, a curved black grain dial, and tan numbers and watch hands with a stainless steel outline. Automatic watches are designed to never stop running as long as the user wears it. The watch has a internal spiral that spins as the user wears the watch, which ultimately powers the watch.

1. The Swiss Made Automatic Stainless Steel Watch – $795

At nearly $800 dollars the Swiss Made Automatic Stainless Steel Watch is the most expensive watch that Fossil produces and sells. The watch features the same internal workings of the previous watch examined, however it is packed in an all stainless steel hardware. The watch has a black face, and also displays the day while the numbers and hands are white and accented with stainless steel.
