Three of Our Favorite Hotels in Santa Barbara

Best Hotels in Santa Barbara

Facing the Pacific Ocean and advertised as the “American Riviera” in Southern California is the city of Santa Barbara. The city is known for its nice beaches, great weather, and its scenic views. Many people flock here throughout the year for a vacation spot and there are many things to do in the city. People that come here need a place to stay and there are many great hotels that you can choose from, however a few are separated from the rest. We are going to take a look at the very best hotels that you can stay in at Santa Barbara.

The Harbor View Inn

The first hotel we are going to look at is the Harbor View Inn. This hotel is right on the water and as the name implies, has great views of the harbor. The hotel itself is smaller than the other hotels on our list, and is certainly a much more “quiet” pick. Despite the Harbor View Inn being somewhat small, it is still very luxurious. You will find a spa, a fitness center, a pool, luxury suites, a premium restaurant, room service, a few bars, beach access, and all that good stuff here. Room start around $300 per night and climb to $600 for the larger suites.

The Santa Barbara Hyatt

Next up we have the Hyatt. This hotel is also located right on the ocean and is very premium and luxurious. The hotel was built in 1931 and it has 171 rooms and suites. You will find everything you would expect in a high-end hotel of this kind. The Hyatt has a massive spa and fitness center, beach access, bars, a large pool, business/wedding reception rooms. The hotel is styled after Spanish architecture and it is complete with the red tile roof. The hotel is also really close to the Santa Barbara Zoo and other attractions. Rooms start at $300 and can get close to $1,000 for the more premium suites.

The Baltimore  Santa Barbara: A Four Seasons Resort

This Four Seasons Resort is arguably the best accommodations that you can get in Santa Barbara. It is right on the beach and a little outside of town. The resort is styled after Spanish villas and they spare no expense when striving for luxury. You get pretty much everything here: restaurants, a massive spa, a golf course, tennis courts, beach access, a fitness center, business/wedding rooms, rentable private cottages, and much more. I mean it is a five star resort, so let your imagination do the work. They have it all, and its wrapped into one beautiful package. Rooms start around $400 and can get as high as $4,000 for the premium suites per night. The private cottage is the most, however you have to specifically inquire about that and be a serious customer to get a rate; we imagine its very expensive. If you are look for top level pampering, this is your hotel.
