Take A Look at The Most Remote Luxury Hotel in The World: Longitude 131°

Longitude 131°

So, you want to take a vacation to an exotic location and stay in a luxurious hotel? What are some of your options? Obviously there are plenty of incredible resorts located in places like Hawaii or on the Amalfi Coast, but those come with some tradeoffs. Sure, these resorts have six restaurants, two spas, and a waterpark, but you also have to share all those great amenities with all the other guests. How luxurious can a hotel really be if there are 5o0 or more rooms? So instead, you want to visit a remote hotel. Is there a place that is both luxurious and in a really remote location? As it turns out, there is, and it is called Longitude 131°.

The Australian Outback is a punishing and a fairly inhospitable place. Many people would not want to come here for a vacation, but Longitude 131° is not your ordinary hotel for “most” people. Located just a bit away from the iconic Uluru (Ayers Rock) is this truly unique and charming hotel. Sure it’s not a Ritz-Carlton, but it’s still easily the most luxurious hotel that is far away from everyone else. Let’s take a look at what it has to offer.

It’s going to be a bit of an adventure to get out here, but it is well worth the trip. Longitude 131° is a collection of “luxury tents” that dot the barren landscape. Okay, I know what you’re thinking: “how are tents luxurious”. Just give me a second, and you’ll find out. First of all, despite that the structures are “tents” (and by tents, they are really just buildings with canopy roofs), Longitude 131° is a five-star property. From afar, it seems strange as to how this hotel could possible be a five-star establishment, but once you look through the property, you can begin to see why.

The interiors of the various buildings that make up Longitude 131° are all extremely luxurious and stylish. While your having in the lounge or enjoying some food, you forget that you are out in the middle of the Australian Outback. The structures really don’t feel like tents at all. And being a five-star property, Longitude 131° has a lot to keep you busy. The hotel offers a pool, a premium restaurant, a bar, a lounge, a spa, and more. Sure, it may not have all the features seen at larger resorts in popular locations, but given where Longitude 131° is, it is very impressive as to what they have to offer. Guests also have the option to partake in a variety of different activities from things like riding camels to going on spiritual nature walks out in the desert. You also have incredible access to Uluru as well.

Still, the most attractive feature that this hotel has to offer are the tents that guests stay in. Every guests gets their own private tent, and they are essentially small villas. But the real draw is the fact that there are only just 15 of them in total. So not only is Longitude 131° a five-star luxury hotel in one of the most remote locations in the world, it’s also extremely exclusive. Since there are only 15 tents in total, your stay here is also extremely intimate and private. There are absolutely no crowds, no waiting in lines for things, or any of that fuss seen with larger resorts.

So while there are more luxurious hotels and resorts in the world, if you’re seeking a luxury hotel that’s located at one of the most remote location on Earth, Longitude 131° is absolutely great. You won’t find many five-star hotels located in places like this one, and the Longitude 131° is certainly pretty incredible and unforgettable. It has all the features and comforts of a five-star property, it’s extremely remote, it’s very luxurious, and it’s also very private. If you want to get away from everything for just a little bit, this is the hotel that you have to stay in.
