Dubai is one of the quickest up and coming locations in the world. The city has seen amazing development in the past decade and this luxurious location is becoming a real hot spot for tourists. As if there weren’t enough amazing resorts in Dubai already, St. Regis is planning to build and open up a new polo resort in the city that will add to the already amazing culture there.
The company is planning on opening the resort by 2017 if everything goes to plan and it will be their first ever polo resort and club. The hotel will offer 136 total rooms for guests, 138 residential villas, and 24 private bungalow retreat housing options as well. The entire complex will be a total of six million square feet and have a massive sports complex. The resort will focus on its polo club that will offer a state of the art academy for riding school and polo with 500 total stables.
All guests at this new St. Regis will have access to the polo academy and its multiple programs for any ages. Dubai has a big polo culture and the St. Regis will have world class fields, making this one of the top places to learn or play polo in the world. The resort will have other standard sport features like tennis courts and pools to make sure their guests can also come for a good vacation that isn’t focused on the sport.
St. Regis has been very active in their efforts to promote and raise awareness about polo. They want to include the sport into as many of their locations as possible and Dubai is the perfect place with the space to build such a huge polo dedicated complex. The resort is still at least two years away, but when finished should be an amazing place to vacation at, making Dubai even more desirable of a travel location.
