There are a few luxurious restaurants, a large fitness center, a dedicated wine bar, a beautiful spa, plenty of meeting spaces for conferences or weddings, top-notch customer service, and much more. Guests have access to a host of activities that range from exploring local vineyards to playing some rounds of golf on the two courses that surround this Ritz-Carlton.
The Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay also has a wide range of luxury accommodations to choose from. The basic guest rooms either offer one king-sized bed or two double-sized beds and have views of either the ocean or the hotel grounds. Guests also have the option for a room on the ground floor, as these rooms come with their own private fire pits. Of course at the high-end of things this Ritz has many large suites to choose from, some of which offer 2,000-square-feet of space. Rooms start at around $600 per night, and no matter which one you book, you certainly will be pleased. Sure it’s expensive to stay here, but this is a five-star premium resort so that is expected.
So yes, many Ritz-Carlton’s have fancy rooms, amazing restaurants, and premium spas, but this Ritz is very different. It’s location is the most attractive part honestly. The Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay is essentially like a Scottish-esque castle on the sea with golf courses to match, except its in California where the weather is always amazing. You’re close to some amazing wine country and you truly feel that you are in the country side, yet just 30 miles away is one of the nicest cities in the world. From the location to the premium offerings, this is honestly one of the nicest Ritz-Carlton properties around.
