A Glimpse into the World’s Highest Suspended Suite at St. Regis Abu Dhabi

Views of Abu Dhabi

The St. Regis Abu Dhabi opened up its doors to customers last year. It was the second hotel launch from the brand in the United Arab Emirates, but may be second to none when it comes to luxury. Wealthy travelers headed to that region of the world may be easily seduced by the world’s highest suspended hotel suite.

The suite is suspended up in the air over 200 meters high and is positioned between Nation Towers’ 48th and 49th floors. The strategic position of the suite alone make it one of the premier hotel stays in the world. It offers the best panoramic view of the city anywhere. Those flying in on their helicopters can land on the rooftop and be taken on a private elevator to their hotel room.

As for the suite itself, we’re talking 11,600 square feet of pure luxury. There are cascading crystals, 24-carat gold leaf accents, three bedrooms, a luxurious spa, a movie theater, kitchen, dining room, and fully-equipped gym. The grand majilis is a suspended centerpiece that connects the two wings of the suite.

Oliver Key, the General Manager of the St. Regis Abu Dhabi stated: “The Abu Dhabi Suite provides our GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) guests with the ultimate in luxury hospitality with the privacy, security, and relaxation they need to have a completely secluded stay. Our guests staying at the Abu Dhabi Suite can find the comforts of home together with unparalleled personalized and anticipatory service.”

If you’re slightly curious as to how much an night in the suite costs. It’s only a cool $27,225 a night. Sign me up!
