And The World’s Most Expensive Food is….White Gold Caviar

Luxury Business Day 2014

Caviar is one of the world’s most luxurious foods that is very expensive and only pops up at special events. While the cuisine is already a rare product, it has just found a way to become even rarer and more expensive. White gold caviar is hitting the scene and has taken the title of being considered the world’s most expensive food.

This food will cost people around $112,600 per kilo and was created by a fish farmer and his son. Apparently the current price of the caviar is extremely cheap with the average price jumping up to $308,000 at some point. The caviar is sourced from rare albino fish eggs and then laced with 22 carat gold which raises the price immensely. The caviar will only appear in the most exclusively high end restaurants around the world. The father and son use sturgeon fish eggs and they have been deemed the first caviar producers from Austria. The product is apparently very strong tasting and has a delicious fresh fish flavor that is some of the best in the industry.

The caviar has distinct physical look that is literally yellow and golden, which adds to the idea of the gold caviar actually being gold. It comes in a powder form that can easily be spread onto anything people would like. Lots of people love having caviar and this is a very unique change to a seemingly boring food market. The farmers admit that the taste of the white gold caviar isn’t for everyone and does come with an acquired taste, but it’s amazing that these two fish farmers have discovered a way to completely flip caviar on its head. At the current discounted price they are hoping to see people come tryout the product, and it will take time to tell whether or not this product will survive in the market.
