Louis Vutton’s Most Expensive Scarf: The Fox Bi-Color Scarf

Louis Vuitton makes a lot of fashion goods that all have their premium price tag. The famous Parisian company is best known for its expensive handbags and luggage, however they produce nearly anything and everything that can be considered a part of fashion or clothing. From shirts to iPhone cases and scarves, they really do make it all. With the seasons changing and winter coming up, we are going to currently look at one of their most expensive scarves that is currently in their lineup: The Fox Bi-Color Scarf.

Now I would say that a lot of people are not on board with not wearing fur, either because its inhumane or really expensive. That being said, fashion companies still do use fur in their products and that is the case with some of Louis Vuitton’s scarves, this one included. This is a reasonably long scarf measuring 57.9 by 4.7 inches and is made from 100% genuine polar fox fur. Additionally the scarf feature a silk lining, making it very comfortable to wear. The scarf features two differ colors, allowing it to be worn with a variety of different outfits.

There is a lozenge in the middle of the scarf to “evoke the monogram” and Louis Vuitton’s initials and monogram flowers are found throughout the lining, as no Louis Vuitton product is complete without their logo on it. The scarf also has a clever built in hook system allowing you to wear the scarf in a variety of different ways and styles without worrying about it coming lose. There is also a metallic chain woven into lining to create a three-dimensional effect when wearing it.

The scarf is avialable online or through a Louis Vuitton boutique and it costs $3,750 dollars. The criticism that fur receives is due to the fact that we do not need animal fur to keep us warm anymore, and we can make our own synthetic materials to keep us warm, however I supposed those materials are not considered “luxury” items. So if you don’t care that a small animal was killed to make this scarf, and do not mind the price, then this scarf will do a good job of keeping you warm while looking very stylish.
