Established in 1913 in Milan, Prada is one of the most well-known and respected luxury fashion manufacturers in the world. The company originally got its start producing a variety of leather goods, and they have now expanded their product line to include jewelry, footwear, sunglasses, and even fragrances. Their products are used and worn by many different people across the world, and are very much a status symbol. Their current lineup is very diverse, however a few items come out on top being the most expensive. We are going to take a brief look at some of the companies most expensive and most premium products that they currently sell.

The Ostrich Tote – $9,750
Out of all the products that Prada sells, they are definitely best known for their handbags. These popular handbags are used by many women, and the Ostrich Tote is currently the most expensive one that they sell. The bag features a double handle, a detachable shoulder strap, gold-plated hardware, the Prada logo, and an inside pocket lined with Nappa leather.

The Leather Backpack – $3,100
Men also have many options of bags to choose from that are made by Prada. They range from small satchels to larger backpacks, and the “Leather Backpack” is the most expensive men’s bag from Prada. This backpack features calf leather, black palladium hardware, the Prada logo lining, a large main compartment with a drawstring and flap, a front zipper pocket, a small tablet pocket, two cellphone pockets, and a smaller interior zip pocket. Prada keeps it simple with this one, as the design is not too bold.

The Crystal Necklace – $1,990
While leather products are Prada’s forte, the company also produces some jewelry for women. While this product line is relatively smaller, there are some nice pieces within it. The Crystal Necklace would be one of them, and it is also the most expensive piece of jewelry that they currently sell. The necklace is made from steel and is adorned with many crystals. There is also a version that features red crystals for those that want a different color.

The Platform Sandal – $1,450
Prada has a considerably large lineup of footwear for both men and women. These shoes range from casual sneakers to formal footwear, however one of the most expensive pairs of footwear for women are actually sandals. The Platform Sandal’s go for $1,450 and are made from suede and laminated calf leather. These sandals feature a chunky 4.5 inch heel that is studded with rhinestones and the sandals are also available in black.

The Crocodile Driver – $2,900
Over in the men’s department, we see a variety of interesting shoes. I’ll admit that I am personally not a fan of most of them, as many are fairly odd. However one of the more refined shoes (and the priciest) would be the Crocodile Driver. Prada has a few shoes that use this style, but these cost the most as they are made from crocodile leather. The shoes are an unique, dark shade of blue and are good for those looking to spice up their look.

The Trolley – $3,950
In addition to bags, Prada also has a collection of travel gear and luggage, with this trolley bag being the most expensive. Simply referred to by Prada as “The Trolley” this bag comes in either white, black, or blue and features Saffiano leather, two wheels, a large main compartment, a telescopic handle, two outside pockets, adjustable straps, and comes with a waterproof cover. For those who want luxury travel bags, this is a good option

The Flap Wallet – $860
Wallets are another one of Prada’s specialty, and the Flap Wallet for women would be the most expensive on that they currently sell. The wallet is made from Saffiano leather and features a metal chain strap, gold hardware, a snap enclosure, eight credit car compartments, and three note pockets. This wallet is also available in red, peony pink, orchid pink, and cameo.

The Dark Grey Ornate Jeweled Sunglasses – $625
Prada’s lineup of sunglasses are also fairly extensive. They produce many different kinds for both men and women, and most cost around $300 dollars. The Dark Grey Ornate Jeweled Sunglasses however are their most expensive pair. These glasses for women feature an intricate shape and are embellished with jeweled black stones throughout.
