With all the hype surrounding the various Yeezy Boost sneakers that are out there, we often forget that Kanye West and Adidas as launched an entire fashion line of products. The first products within the Yeezy fashion line are all within the Yeezy Season 1 release and are all extremely high-end fashion goods whose prices rival those from brands like Balmain or Gucci. With the Yeezy Season 2 line expected to be released sometime soon, let’s take a look at five absurdly expensive products from Yeezy Season 1.
5. The Supply Shorts – $415
While Yeezy Season 1 is primarily a fall and winter collection, there are one pair of shorts: the supply shorts. These all-black, unisex shorts are made from heavy Japanese cotton and French terry fabric. The features a relaxed fit and an elastic waist, and look like you’re average run-of-the-mill sweatshorts. But don’t be fooled, as the Supply Shorts costs $415 dollars.
4. The Leather Backpack – $585
Constructed from lightweight suede leather with leather trims, the Leather Backpack from Yeezy Season 1 is another expensive product at $585 dollars. The khaki-colored backpack is extremely minimal in nature and it features adjustable shoulder straps, a small front pocket, and a standard backpack pocket.
3. The Boucle Pants – $1,170
The Boucle Pants are one of the more standout products from Yeezy Season 1, as we have often seen Kanye wear these pants. They are long, tapered track pants that have ribbed cuffs and are made from Italian Bouclé wool/nylon/elastane blended fabric.
2. The Destroyed Sweater – $2,600
For exactly $2,600 dollars you can get the Destroyed Sweater from Yeezy Season 1. The sweater is made from extra-fine Zegna Baruffa wool from Italy. However the sweater, as the name implies, has a distressed look meaning it has real holes and canvas patches in it. Apparently each one is handmade so they are all different when it comes to the placement of the holes.
1. The Shearling Jacket – $3,770
One of the most expensive products from Yeezy Season 1 is the unisex Shearling Jacket. It’s a large jacket that has an oversized fit and extra-large pockets. The jacket is fairly simple in terms of design, like many of the products from the Yeezy line. It’s made from Spanish shearling leather and soft Nappa leather so it’s very comfortable and warm.
