Founded in 1910, Ermenegildo Zegna is an luxury Italian fashion house that produces accessories and clothing for men. The company is privately owned, and has been in control of the Zegna family since it was first founded. Based out of Milan, Zegna sells its clothing either online or at its 560 boutiques located all across the world. The produce everything from suits to sunglasses, and with winter in full swing, we are going to take a look at their most premium and their most expensive jackets.
The Reversible Nylon Jacket – $1,895
If you are in the need of a more lightweight jacket, then for $1,895 the Reversible Nylon Jacket from Zegna can be yours. The jacket is pretty light and is water repellent. The nylon jacket has a reversible zipper and can be worn two different ways. On one side the jacket it dark green, while the other side is straight black. The jacket is made from 100% polyester and has a knitted collar and leather trimmed side-pockets.
The Microfiber Carcoat – $1,995
Next up we have the Microfiber Carcoat. This is a classic jacket, and can go with many contemporary mens looks. The jacket itself is a dark navy blue and is made from polyester. The jacket is perfect for rainy days as it is not only waterproof, but it is pretty lengthy as well. The jacket has shirt-styled collars and contrasting pockets to give it just the right level of style and functionality.
The Microfiber Jacket – $2,695
At $2,695 dollars Zegna has the standard Microfiber Jacket. The jacket is dark navy blue in color, and is quilted for a premium and luxurious feel. The jacket itself is also cut from microfiber panels. Additionally, the jacket features a quality wool flannel detail and even a leather piping on the collar and pockets for an elegant finish.
The Shearling Leather Jacket – $2,895
At $2,895 dollars we have Zegna’s version of the leather jacket. The jacket is extremely minimal and stylish; its perfect for those going for an elegant and refined look. The jacket is hand crafted from navy blue suede shearling, and it features a shirt-styled collar, zipper pockets, and clip button cuffs. The leather that Zegna uses is 100% lambskin and they call this jacket a “casual winter masterpiece”
The Microfiber Field Jacket – $3,095
From here on out, we are getting into Zegna’s top of the line jackets, and their most premium. Not to say that their other jackets are bad, but with prices over $3,000 dollars we are certainly in premium fashion house design territory. The Microfiber Field Jacket is definitley an overcoat that will keep you plenty warm. The jacket is slim fit and is made from dark taupe microfiber. The jacket is also lined with premium and warm tartan quilting. Additionally the jacket has a removable shearling collar, four flap pockets, a leather trim, and a zip-button closure.
The Cashmere Lined Leather Jacket – $4,395
We find another leather jacket on our list of Zegna’s most expensive, however this one is much more premium that the one previously examined. Zegna does not seem to be a fan of making fashion statements with their jackets, as they seem to prefer more traditional looks. This is another minimal leather jacket that is dark brown and this one has an amazing cashmere lining. So not only is it absurdly comfortable, but it is also very warm. This is a slim fit jacket and its made from grained 100% leather and knitted wool panels.
The Shearling and Wool Jacket – $4,495
The Shearling and Wool Jacket is the ultimate jacket for style and warmth. The jacket is made from frosted dark brown 100% lambskin shearling that is paired with 100% pure wool knitted sleeves and a shawl collar. Shawl collars are terrific in my opinion because they are really warm, and I enjoy the look. The jacket has side pockets and buttons down the front. It really makes for a perfect winter jacket.
The Pure Cashmere Overcoat – $4,595
When wearing a suit in the winter, or for those looking for a full jacket, an overcoat is a staple. The Pure Cashmere Overcoat from Zegna is their most expensive jacket that they currently sell. Its made from 100% navy blue cashmere and has 3 buttons that are hidden for a minimalistic look. The jacket has a classic herringbone structure and internal pockets. A perfect jacket for formal events. It will keep you plenty warm and is super comfortable.
