Harley-Davidson is an American motorcycle company whose name is known all over the world; a name with arguably the most amount of brand loyalty and recognition out of all motorcycle manufacturers. The legendary company has been producing iconic motorcycles that have captured people of all ages for over a century. The company was founded all the way back in 1903 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Since then Harley-Davidson has created a name for itself in the motorcycle community. Most Harley owners also belong to riding clubs and events set up through the company; they have a large cult-like following. The company also produces a variety of accessories to go along with their motorcycles. Motorcycle gear such as helmets, gloves, and a jacket should always be a must with riders, so Harley-Davidson began producing them. Everyone knows that you don’t really own a motorcycle until you also have a leather jacket (kidding). Outside of the cool factor of having a motorcycle while wearing a leather jacket and helmet (obviously all black), riding jackets are extremely important as they also offer a lot of protection for the rider in case they drop the bike, or are involved in an accident. Harley-Davidson produces a wide range of casual jackets and riding jackets so we are going to look at the most expensive ones that they make.

If you want to purchase a motorcycle and then start riding, there is no point to skimp out on gear as motorcycles are obviously dangerous. Riding jacket with added padding and armor can be expensive, but they are worth it. The first jacket on our list is the FXRG Textile Jacket. The jacket itself has a nylon shell with Cocona Technology that provides wind and waterproof protection to the jacket while also remaining comfortable. Additionally there is an removable liner inside the jacket that provides added warmth, as riding can get cold depending on the season. The jacket also has a variety of removable armor found in the elbows, shoulders, and back and is also reinforced with kevlar at key impact points. The jacket has a variety of pockets and reflective gear as well.
4. The Sharlot Leather 3-in-1 Jacket – $ 575.00
The next jacket on our list is the Sharlot Leather 3-in-1 Jacket. This black leather jacket is extremely versatile and is aimed to be a jacket for all of your riding needs, regardless of destination or season. The jacket is made of mid-weight cowhide leather and has a removable hoodie sweatshirt like insert providing extra warmth if needed. The hoodie and jacket both have the Harley-Davidson logo on them. Additionally the jacket has added wind protection and is waterproof. The jacket does not come with body armor however there are places for it in the elbows and shoulder.
3. The Triple Vent Evolution Leather Jacket – $575.00
When riding a motorcycle with protective gear there typically is this awkward bit where one is always hot while wearing the gear. Say its the summer and a perfect 85 degrees out and you want to ride your motorcycle. Well you gotta gear all up cause you want to be safe, and now you are super hot because of it. Well the Triple Vent Evolution Leather Jacket provides riders with an advanced venting system with variable airflow allowing riders to always keep cool when riding. The black leather jacket comes with a removable liner, body armor pockets, and body armor in the shoulders, elbow, and back. The jacket also has the Harley-Davidosn logo on it and reflective strips for riding at darker hours.
2. The FXRG Mid-weight Leather Jacket – $650.00
The FXRG Mid-weight Leather Jacket is the “mid-tier” jacket from FXRG and is somewhat similar to the textile jacket however this one is, obviously made from leather. The jacket has multiple vents, pockets, a removable liner, body armor pockets, included body armor, and is wind/water-proof.
1. The FXRG Leather Jacket – $695.00
At nearly $700 dollars the FXRG Leather Jacket is the most expensive jacket that one can purchase through Harley-Davidson. This jacket is the top-tier level of jackets sold by FXRG and Harley-Davidson. The leather jacket has 6 vents, body armor, a removable kidney-belt (more protection), is wind/water proof, has a warm removable liner, reflective material, and various pockets. The jacket also has an action back pre-curved sleeves for enhanced mobility.
