The Atlas Aviator Sunglasses are Tiffany’s Priciest Pair

Tiffany & Co. Introduces Eyewear For Spring 2011

Based out of New York City Tiffany & Co. is a large, multinational retailer of luxury goods that span from jewelry to china, and from watches to small leather goods. The brand is well respected throughout the world, and they are known for making high-quality goods and accessories, most of which are often expensive. While they produce a variety of different things, they are most known for the jewelry and their diamonds. Their products are often defined by the iconic blue box that they come in; that shade of blue has sort of become their trademark. If you are looking for some sunglasses, well Tiffany’s makes those as well. We are going to take a look at some of their most expensive sunglasses that they currently sell.

Right now at Tiffany’s, the most expensive sunglasses they sell are the Atlas Aviator Sunglasses which comes in two different versions, depending on your personal tastes and preferences. Both pairs feature the same classic aviator design, but are made from slightly different materials. The first pair is made from 18 karat gold-plated metal and black acetate. The black acetate is located on the part of the sunglasses that go over your ears, however most of the sunglasses are made from the 18 karat gold-plate. The other pair has tortoise acetate instead of black. The black pair features a light gray gradient lenses while the other has  light brown mirrored lenses. Both pari have “Tiffany and Co.” not only on the lenses themselves, but also on the temple tips. Both pair are rated at 100% UV protection and feature an anti-glare coating. The glasses also have roman numeral accents on them for a stylish feature.
