At $3,800 These are Tiffany’s Most Expensive Cufflinks

Tiffany & Co. is a world famous American company that produces jewelry, china, sterling silver, stationary products, watches,  fragrances, and a variety of other luxury products. They are known for their famous blue box, and their diamonds. Founded in 1837 in New York City as a stationary company, they soon branched out into other industries and have become a major player in the jewelry industry.

Cufflinks are a piece of jewelry for men that are not only functional, but also stylish. The are used to hold French styled shirt cuffs together. They are typically small and often understated, however Tiffany & Co. have some that are the opposite of being understated. While they are often viewed as an accessory, high-end jewelers like Tiffany turn them into expensive commodities. So we are going to take a look at their most expensive pair that are currently available: The Olive Cufflinks.

These cufflinks were made to pay homage to Jean Schlumberger, and are part of a collection created in his honor. Schlumberger was a famous jewelry designer who worked for Tiffiny’s back in the day whose designs were immediately smash hits. His jewelry was worn by many famous people at the time including Jackie Kennedy and Diana Vreeland, a famous editor for Vogue. His jewelry was so popular, that it is even still worn by people today.

The cufflinks have brightly colored blue “olives” in them, and are wrapped in 18 karat gold. For their gold, Tiffany’s uses one single gold mine located in the United States that meets “the jewelry industry’s highest standards for environmental and social responsibility”. These cufflinks are sure to compliment any shirt and provide the owner with some expensive wrists. These cufflinks are their most expensive currently, and are priced at $3,800. That is a pretty high price tag for cufflinks, however that is what one should expect when dealing with Tiffany’s, as the brand is not known for its affordability.
