The Most Expensive Colleges in the United States

A6

Is college tuition really worth it? This is a question we never would have asked 10-15 years ago, but today it’s becoming a developing situation. What’s contributing to this doubt in the value of a college degree? Well, that’s easy – the astronomical tuition is probably one of the top reasons, but we can’t forget about the elusive job market. College grads are paying more money for their degree and also struggling more so than ever to find a well-paying career post graduation. High school kids are still going to college – no doubt. It’s a right of passage that every person should enjoy. Unfortunately, it’s putting families in mounds of debt – and what’s worse – it’s preventing many from experiencing college.

So now that we’ve made that point let’s look at the culprits. What colleges are driving the tuition train through the roof? Here are some of the most expensive colleges in the United States of America:

So there you have it! It’s Sarah Lawrence College with a tuition of $48,696 and a total cost of over $60,000 a year. That price is about a 4% price jump from the previous year. This is going to keep going in the wrong direction.
