Beats and Snarkitecture Collaborate to Create Limited Edition Headphones and Pillow

A

Having just got off a plane when I saw this release from Beats I got very excited for a second. At first I thought that Beats and Snarkitecture collaborated to make a set of headphones built into a pillow that would allow me to rest my head comfortably while enjoying music or a movie. Well, that’s not exactly the case.   HOWEVER the limited edition stripped-down headphones are pretty awesome.

Having seen plenty of Beats collaborations the new one with New York-based architecture firm Snarkitecture is another pretty awesome partnership for Beats. The product is a limited-edition, pure white, matte textured and noticeably reduced branding version of the ever-popular headphones. The slick white headset is delivered on a crinkly, snow white, picturesque pillow – only it’s not a pillow. It’s a base made of cast marble, perfectly crafted to resemble a well-used pillow. It ties in perfectly with the pure white headphones and is a really cool accessory to have in your house.

They are limited-edition and because of that they’re priced well above the standard Beats headphones you may own. Right now, we’re looking at $600 to get the set. They should be available on the Beats website starting on June 9th. They are still pretty awesome even if you can’t rest your head on the pillow!
