For many people cars are not just a means of transportation, they are also a symbol of status and wealth. Those that can afford nice automobiles usually favor sport cars and luxury vehicles. Starting the list out strong we have the Bugatti Veyron. There have been a few different models of this terrific supercar over the recent years, and all of them are good. This is the quintessential rich-person’s supercar. It’s extremely luxurious and refined, in addition to being the worlds fastest road-legal production car. If you want to make a statement, drive a Veyron.

9. The Mercedes E-Class
The Mercedes E-Class is also on our list. While technically being a mid-range Mercedes, that starts at around $54,000, the E-Class is the companies best seller. The E-Class vehicles offer a great balance of luxury and performance. If you are in the 1% and don’t care to much about cars, or you don’t need the fastest car ever, this is the perfect car.

8. The Range Rover Autobiography Black
If you are extremely rich and prefer driving an SUV, then this Range Rover Autobiography Black is for you. The company is only releasing 100 for the United States, and it is their largest, most powerful, most luxurious, most feature-rich, and their most expensive model at $185,030 dollars.

7. The Ferrari F12 Berlinetta
The Ferrari F12 Berlinetta is up next on our list. This is Ferrari’s grand-tourer and it is large, luxurious, and powerful with its 6.3 liter V12 engine that offers 730 horsepower. While the 458 is more geared to those that want to drive like a race car driver, the F12 is a bit more refined and offers a more comfortable ride. It’ll also run you around $323,745 dollars.

6. BMW M6 Gran Coupé
The BMW M6 Gran Coupé is almost everything you could want in a BMW. It’s functional as it has a trunk and can sit five, it is packed with luxury features, and it’s powerful. The car costs around $116,000 and boasts a 4.4 liter V8 engine. It’s a solid all-around vehicle that will please many.

5. The Aston Martin One-77
The One-77 is easily my favorite Aston Marin that has ever been released as it is just a beautiful achievement. The car was produced from 2010 to 2012 and they only made 77 of them in total. This $1.7 million dollar vehicle has an absurdly large 7.3 liter V12 engine that offers 750bhp. Aston Martin says it’s also the fastest car they’ve ever made. Aside from speed this car is just ultra-refined luxury in addition to being very exclusive.

4. The Bentley Mulsanne Speed
You can’t talk about the 1% and not mention Bentley. This high-end luxury brand has been making many great vehicles over the years, and the Mulsanne Speed is an impressive car. The vehicle combines luxury and comfort with performance. It’s large and roomy, but it also has a 6.75 liter V8 engine. Within its price range (cars that cost more than $340,000 dollars) it’s one of the best.

3. The Pagani Huayra
The Pagani Huayra, in my opinion, is everything you could possibly want in a supercar. It’s ultra fast, very premium, extremely limited, costly, super-luxurious, and it looks absolutely awesome. This $1.6 million dollar supercar offers so much to drivers. The car has a 6.0 liter V12 engine made by Mercedes-AMG and it has a top speed of around 230mph.

2. The Mercedes-Maybach S600.
Sitting at the top of the Mercedes ladder in terms of luxury is the Mercedes-Maybach S600. It’s essentially the nicest S-Class sedan that money can buy and is packed to the brim with luxury features. This $200,000 vehicle is also powered by a 6.0 liter V12 so it can move pretty fast as well. This is the car that you own when you have a personal diver.

1. The Rolls-Royce Phantom
As far as I’m concerned, when you think of luxury cars, Rolls-Royce should always be on top. Leading the Rolls-Royce pack is their flagship vehicle, the Phantom. These cars are made nearly entirely from hand and are the definiton of luxury. The features and options that you can put into the Phantom is nearly endless. While it’s not the fastest car in the world, it screams luxury and status. If you want the best luxury vehicle money can buy, there really are no other options but the Phantom (or any Rolls-Royce for that matter).
