There are so many amazing Mercedes-Benz models out there to choose from and most of them are pretty nice. They offer some of the best-in-class features and performance and are one of the oldest car manufacturers in the world. Out of all of their vehicles their S-Class models are typically their top-of-the-line vehicles. These cars offer the most amount of features, the best performance, and are just plain and simple great cars. The make a variety of different S-Class vehicles with their SLS GT Coupe being their most expensive at $221,580 and it is basically their supercar. However while that car performs the best and has the largest engine and cool gull-wing doors, it is not our favorite. The pick for our favorite S-Class vehicle goes to the S63 AMG 4MATIC Coupe.
So why is this vehicle our favorite S-Class model? The main reason we chose this vehicle over the others, especially the SLS is because of practicality. The SLS is a 2-seater sport/super car and while amazing in its own regard, is not really a practical vehicle to drive everyday. The S63 certainly is. The S63 is a two-door, four-seater coupe that is packed with a terrific handcrafted AMG 5.5 liter biturbo V-8 engine. Couple that with the vehicles AMG Performance 4MATIC all-wheel drive and the AMG 7-speed SPEEDSHIFT MCT transmission and you have one terrific car. The car can go 0-60 in just 3.9 seconds, has 577 horsepower and 664 pounds-feet of torque. This car certainly moves quick, while wrapped up into the comfortable coupe package. Best thing is that its only 0.3 seconds slower than their SLS, so you don’t loose that much performance with this car. You get all the bells and whistles here with this car too: AMG sport exhaust, and AMG frame and sport suspension, a compound-braking system, 20 inch rims, a moon roof, leather interior, wood or carbon fiber trim, two 12.3 inch screens that display the controls, a heads-up display projected onto the windshield, Bluetooth, premium surround sound, a cabin fragrance system, and much, much more.
The interior is amazing as well. Those two 12.3 inch screens pretty much display everything allowing Mercedes to offer an very minimal interior. The options on this vehicle are pretty much endless as well: a refrigerator, TV’s for the back seats, heated armrests and even doors, more carbon fiber parts, blind spot assist, semi-autonomous driving systems, and more. Its really a terrific vehicle no matter which way you look at it. The S63 AMG 4MATIC has great performance, all the luxury features you would want, and most importantly it is a practical car to drive. You can fit you family into this car or pick up the groceries.
