Porsche Unveils The New 911 Turbo and 911 Turbo S

Out of all the various models that Porsche produces, the 911 has always been a crowd favorite and one of the brands best. Porsche’s 911 Turbo and their 911 Turbo S are their top-of-the-line 911 models, and they always have been some of their best. Well recently Porsche has unveiled the new 911 Turbo and 911 Turbo S for 2017, and they are as impressive as you’d expect them to be.

Porsche has brought a number of subtle changes to their beloved 911 Turbo and 911 Turbo S, that when added together, make these cars even more desirable. Porsche has refined and sharpened the design of these cars, while still keeping that classic Porsche look. They have added new steering wheels that were inspired by the 918, they have included more driving modes now, added a stability management system, improved the navigation system, added a new communication controls, and more.

However the most important new details with these new cars is found underneath the hood. Porsche has created new engines for both the 911 Turbo and the 911 Turbo S so they are now more powerful and faster than ever. Both models now use a 3.8-liter bi-turbo six-cylinder engine, which has added 20 hp to both cars compared to last years models. The standard 911 Turbo now offers 540 hp in total while the high-end 911 Turbo S has an incredible 580 hp.

We can now expect the 911 Turbo to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 3 seconds flat, and topping out at speeds of 198 mph. But if that’s not enough, the 911 Turbo S can now accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 2.9 seconds and reach speeds of 205 mph! Both vehicles will be offered in coupe or convertible configurations, and they are expected to be available at the end of January 2016. Prices for the vehicles are expected to range from $159,200 to $200,400 dollars.
