Watch New Jaguar F-Pace Complete a 360 Loop, Breaking The World Record

Jaguar F-Pace 360 World Record

Luxury automobile brand Jaguar has only just recently released their highly-anticipated Jaguar F-Pace, which is the first SUV from the company. And by “just recently”, I mean like two days ago at the 2015 Frankfurt Auto Show. It’s shaping up to be a very attractive luxury SUV that starts at around $40,000 dollars. While we will still have to wait for the official release of the car, Jaguar has just put out a video of their F-Pace completing a loop-the-loop, breaking a world record.

Jaguar brought on their accomplished driver Terry Grant to attempt the stunt, and it has taken them months of planning and testing to get everything just right. Given the risks involved with something like this, not a single detail was overlooked. The loop was about 62.5 feet in height, which is pretty high for a vehicle that weighs over 5,000 pounds to complete. Grant successfully completed the loop and maintained his course, despite sustaining of 6.5G’s of force. The completion of the loop has been officially recognized by the Guinness World Records. For Jaguar this was a great move in terms of marketing, fully showing just how capable the Jaguar F-Pace actually is, although you definitely should not try this.
