The Lexus LC-LF Could Be Just Around The Corner

Lexus LF LC

Lexus is the luxury and sports division of the Toyota Motor Group and they produce vehicles that are typically much better, more expensive, and better performing than standard Toyotoa’s. The brand was founded in 1989 and since then they have become the most successful Japanese maker of luxury vehicles and their cars are sold throughout the world. Like other car companies, Lexus unveils a variety of concept cars to show their consumers where the company is heading in the future. One of those concept vehicles is the Lexus LC-LF and people are dying to get their hands on one.

The Lexus LC-LF was introduced as a concept car at the Detroit Auto Show back in 2012. In immediately generated a fair amount of publicity and many people wanted to get their hands on this car. The vehicle was a hybrid 2+2 sports coupe that had a heavy emphasis on performance and being driver-focused. Lexus wanted to push the envelope for hybrid sports cars, and it seems that have done that. First off, the vehicle in my opinion is absolutely amazing to look at. From the slants, to the grill, to the rear of the vehicle, this cars looks awesome and futuristic.

The concept car also featured an all glass roof and a spectacular interior cabin. The vehicle is very progressive and you will notice that there is a lack of knobs, as they have been replaced by multiple touch screens. Unfortunately this awesome car was just a concept car, however as it turns out the production version of this that Lexus plans to release will be extremely similar, if not identical as confirmed by a representative from Lexus.

The production version of this awesome car is rumored to have an electric engine and a V8 engine as well, which should give the vehicle at least 500 horsepower. This car is meant to compete with vehicles such as the Ferrari California, the Bentley GT Continental, the Porsche 911 Turbo, and the Aston Marin DB9. So it should in theory perform similar to those vehicles. It is good to see Lexus go through with making a production version of this car as it was so popular when it was unveiled. Rumors still surround this vehicle, however we should expect to see it sometime in 2016 or 2017. We hop that Lexus keeps their word, as this car is just so nice.
