Land Rover Launches a Trio of Limited Edition Defenders

In the past decade Land Rover has built their company up to be a top luxury car brand in the world that competes with BMW, Jeep, Mercedes Benz, and even Porsche. Their cars and the style have become a beloved automobile model everywhere and Land Rover has developed quite the cult of dedicated followers. Now the company is gearing up to release three different anniversary models of their Defender model.

Land Rover is celebrating the 68th anniversary of the original 4×4 Defender model and is doing something special about it. The company initially planned to make one special birthday edition of the car for the occasion but they couldn’t decide on just one style to reflect what the car has been about over the years. Instead, three different types have been created to celebrate the car; the autobiography edition, the heritage edition and the adventure addition.

The autobiography edition of the car is all about luxury and comfort, being placed on the smallest wheelbase and set with a full leather interior. The car has all of the perks and upgrades offered from Land Rover and features a diesel engine. The autobiography edition of the Defender is also the only of the three cars to feature a two tone paint job, with the orange and black. The heritage edition of the Defender looks and feels old to represent everything the company and car have come from. It has an updated retro grille as well as the Grasmere Green paint job with a white roof to look like the classic Land Rover models. The Adventure version of the car is very sleek and waiting to collect a nice mud paint job over it’s dark exterior.  There is underbody shielding along with Goodyear MT/R tires for the heaviest offroading trips. The interior features leather which is easier to get dirt and mud off of when cleaning.

The three Defender cars are all amazing and fit the main types of Land Rover drivers. A limited amount are being made and they will be hitting the market sometime this year so collectors and enthusiasts should be on the look out if they have any interest in picking up one of these special Defenders.
