Aston Martin has been producing a variety of amazing luxury sports cars and grand tourers since the company was conceived back in 1913. They have produced a variety of different vehicles, but it is their “DB” series (named after Sir David Brown) that are their most iconic, and most popular models. One of their most popular modern vehicle is their DB9 which was unveiled in 2003. They produce many of these vehicles and recently the company just unveiled a unique one-of-a-kind DB9 Volante dubbed “Morning Frost”.
Aston Martin has a division simply called “Q” (possible James Bond reference?) that handles all of their custom orders and makes their really unique vehicles. They just produced this unique Morning Frost DB9 and it looks absolutely terrific. The majority of the vehicle is arctic white in color, and is beautifully accented with blue carbon fiber panels, and blue leather. Also all of the stitching in the interior is the opposite color (i.e. white leather with blue sticking and vice-versa), really making the detail pop out at you. The vehicle also has a blue canvas top, being a convertible.
Aston Martin went to pretty great lengths to make this vehicle one-of-a-kind, and in our opinion they did a pretty great job. They got everything down, even the fine details. Outside of the customized appearance, you still have a terrific DB9 Volante. The car is powered by a massive 6.0 liter V12 engine that can dish out 510 break horse power and 457 pounds-feet of torque allowing the car to accelerate from 0-62 mph in 4.6 seconds. The car also has a “Touchtronic 2” six-speed transmission that allows for quick shifting and a race like feel, all packed into a four-seater grand tourer. No price has been released from Aston Martin about this car, and with regular DB9’s costing around $200,000, it would be safe to say that this vehicle probably costs at least somewhere close to $300,000 or more due to the custom work and the fact that only one exists.
