Originally founded as the Swallow Sidecar Company in 1922, now known as Jaguar, this British car company has been producing a wide array of high-end luxury motor vehicles. Today, Jaguar is part of the Jaguar Land Rover brand which, no surprise, includes Land Rover and Range Rover. Over the years Jaguar has produced a number of fine luxury cars to consumers around the world, and they also own royal warrants for Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles, which means they provide them with their vehicles. However the Jaguar brand, along with other British car manufactures, are not known for their long term quality, and in the past have proven somewhat unreliable and “finicky”, to say the least. However that’s the past; today’s Jaguar cars are as modern as ever and the new F-type is something to be reckoned with. So, we are going to take a look at the most expensive Jaguar models that are currently on the market.
5. The XF – Starting price: $46,975
The first model on our list is the Jaguar XF. The XF is the cheapest model that Jaguar offers, however it is still a quality luxury vehicle. With 240 HP and a 2.0L I4 Turbocharged engine this car has a fair amount of power allowing consumers to go from 0-60 in 7.5 seconds, which is not to bad for a sedan of this class. The base vehicle comes with premium interior featuring an 8-speed automatic transmission, a Meridian 380W “Premium Sound System”, front and rear parking aid, in addition to a variety of other features. With Jaguar, one can upgrade a variety of different things, and you can spec this model all the way out to $99.000 dollars. The more expensive model, the XFR-S comes with a 550 HP 5.0L V8 supercharged engine. This massive engine then powers the car from 0-60 in only 4.4 seconds, which is extremely impressive.
4. The F-type – Starting Price: $65,000
Jaguar’s newest model, The F-type is a 2 seater sports car. The base model is a light weight vehicle that provides the driver with an amazing driving experience. It comes with 240 HP 3.0L V6 supercharged engine that will take its driver from 0-60 in just 5.1 seconds. Like the other models, you can upgrade as well. You can spec out the F-type for %99,000 when you throw in the 550 HP 5.0L V8 supercharged engine which then boosts the 0-60 to just 4 seconds flat, making it the fastest Jaguar on the market today.
3. The XJL – Starting price: $81,200
Next up on the list is the Jaguar XJL. The XJL is very similar to the XJ, however this model has a longer wheelbase and this is a big car indeed. The standard XJL features a 340 HP 3.0L V6 engine that takes you from 0-60 in just 5.7 seconds. That fact is impressive considering how long this car is. The standard XJL also features some luxury features one would expect like a premium sounds system, heated and cooled leather seats, and a four zone climate control. The XJL can be upgraded to a 550 HP 5.0L V8 Supercharged engine and additional features which will run you $119,000 dollars.
2. The XK Coupe – Starting price: $84,500
This flagship Jaguar comes in at number 2 on our list. The XK is known as Jaguar’s premier car and comes stock with a 385 HP 5.0L V8 engine taking drivers from 0-60 in 5.2 seconds. The model is stacked with features and can be upgraded to the XKR-S Coupe costing around $132,000 dollars which comes with the 550HP V8 as mentioned in the other vehicles on our list.
1. The XK Convertible. – Starting price: $90,500
Apparently less is more with Jaguar, quite literally. The convertible version of the model describe above is $6,000 more dollars and goes all the way up to $138,000 dollars with the same features described above.
