Aston Marin is an English manufacturer of high-end luxury sports cars and grand tourers. The have a rich history and have made some pretty epic cars since the company was first founded in 1913. Their cars are so prominent, that they are the official cars for James Bond, as the company has been providing Bond with various models of their cars throughout the years. One of the greatest cars that they have ever produced, and currently their flagship vehicle is the Aston Martin Vanquish.
The Aston Martin Vanquish was first introduced in 2001 and was quickly well liked. The cars have always been known for their massive V12 engines and their elegant appearance. The all new 2015 Vanquish is arguably the most impressive one yet, and at $290,000 it certainly better be.
First off in the all new Vanquish, Aston Martin has upgraded the engine. Calling it “their greatest GT engine ever”, the new Vanquish has an AM29 V12 engine and it is the most powerful engine that they have ever put in an Aston. The engine pumps out 568 brake horse power allowing it to achieve a top-speed of 201 miles per hour and accelerate from 0-60 miles per hour in 3.6 seconds. As Aston Martin says “It’s not just a grand tourer, it’s a super grand tourer”. Aston Martin also threw in a Touchtronic III ZF eight-speed automatic transmission. This transmission is pretty incredible and it allows all eight gears to shift in just 130 milliseconds. The body of the car is made from space grade carbon-fiber panels to reduce weight. The interior of the car is also pretty terrific. Its minimal and luxurious, while containing all of the features a car of this caliber would have. For a luxury grand tourer coupe, performance of this level is unheard of. It is truly a remarkable vehicle that provides the user with an unforgettable driving experience.
