The 2016 Cadillac CT6 is Revealed in an Oscars Commercial

Paris Auto Show - Press Day

Cadillac has been one major car company that saw a dip in their production over the past couple of years but has now been trying to put together a resurgence with a lineup of new cars. Aiming to reach out to customers as a luxury brand that can offer people everything they want for a reasonable price, the company has moved into this new year with a specific plan and some nice car models. The most recent  addition to the Cadillac family is the CT6, which was revealed at the Oscars.

The CT6 won’t be seeing the market until sometime in 2016, but Cadillac is already eager to get people hyped up about it. The company saw an opening during the Oscars to reveal the car for the first time through a commercial (found above) while also expressing their new “Dare Greatly” advertisement campaign. The General Motors company released four different commercials during the Academy Awards to promote the CT6 and make sure it stuck into people’s minds with very movie like ads.

The Cadillac CT6 looks like a pretty interesting vehicle that will hopefully gives drivers a high class luxury option from the classic company. The car features a long body that is slim with a sleek front and unique head lights. It has that traditional square looking Cadillac shape but has definitely been modernized and is supposed to compete with cars such as the BMW 7 series and the Audi A8. Cadillac is planning on officially revealing the car in person during the New York Auto Show which is scheduled for this April. The company has not released any other info about the car and is keeping it under wraps for either the reveal or sometime closer to the launch date next year. It will be interesting to hear more about the CT6 and see if Cadillac can truly break into the top of the line luxury market.
