For fans of automobiles and driving, there is a endless list of vehicles to choose from. Naturally many prefer high-end and modern cars from companies like Mercedes-Benz, Maserati, and others. On the flip-side, some prefer to drive classic and vintage cars from yesteryear. But what if you could have a combination of both? What would a modern vehicle combined with a timelessly classic design look like? Well it would probably look like the all-new Morgan Aero 8 that was recently unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show.

The Morgan Motor Company is a small, family-owned British car manufacturer based out of Malvern. The company produced many vehicles over the years, and all of them are classically inspired. When the original Aero 8 came out in 2000, it was the first new design the company release since 1948. Now we are in the fifth-generation of the Aero 8, and it is even better. The Aero 8 aims to encapsulate everything people loved about classic, open-air British sport cars of yesteryear, and it does a very good job at that.

This new Aero 8 features some slight visual and mechanical upgrades that have made it even more amazing. The Aero 8 has long and low body lines, it sits very low to the ground, and it has a very sleek roof line. This is the type of car that you drive on a winding-road in the countryside on a late summers day; it’s all about the purist form of automobiling. The cabin makes extensive work of leather and real world that makes the Aero 8 extremely charming. It’s lightweight, stylish, and just an absolute joy to look at. It’s also very powerful as well. The car has a relatively large 4.8 liter V8 engine from BMW that offers 367bhp of pure exhilaration and fun.

Despite giving off the appearance of a car produced from the 1940’s, the Aero 8 is still very modern. The cars engine, gearbox, and other mechanical parts are all brand-new. It’s got a BMW limited slip differential system as well. You’ve got the options for carbon seats, a touchscreen control system, and a variety of other options. Morgan gives buyers a seemingly endless list of bespoke options so that they can make your version extremely personal. All of these cars are produced in limited numbers by hand, so you can be sure that it’s of extremely high-quality as well. Everything about this car takes the best things about classic cars and then takes those features into modern times. Production of the new Aero 8 will start in Q4 of 2015, and they will only be making a limited number, so you’ve got to act fast if you want to get your hands on one. Prices have yet to be announced, but it will be expensive due to the fact that each Aero 8 is made-to-order and now two are exactly alike.
