When it comes to advertising, nothing is more effective than receiving attention from the president of the United States. And Paradise Point Estates has been bookmarked by President Obama as his favorite vacation retreat for the second time now, subsequently earning the place the name: the Obama Winter White House. Located at Kailua Bay in Kailua, Hawaii, Paradise point Estates boasts a nice combination of features that gives credence to its name. The vacation home features an extensive lawn at the forefront of Kailua Beach, as well as a lagoon-style courtyard. It was custom built with African mahogany carvings and natural stone tiling. The interior has a surface area of about 5,000 square feet, including five bedrooms and five full bathrooms.

From a bird’s eye view, Paradise Point Estates is an epitome of luxury, designed for comfort, elegance, and security. One of its most attractive features is the conspicuous plantation-style finishes and furnishings sourced from across the globe. It is a perfect setting for the lovebirds with a spectacular view of Kailua Beach, especially from the master suite and bath, which comes with a relaxing spa bathtub.

Paradise Point Estates is brimming with first class amenities. Located just two minutes from Kailua shopping center, the spacious home is sufficiently equipped with personal items like toiletries and hairdryers for additional convenience. The center courtyard of the estates features a pavilion, lagoon style pool, and tropical waterfalls that neighbor a beautiful island hot tub spa. Privacy is guaranteed in the form of native vegetation and natural stone fencing. And, while all the beaches in Hawaii are public, Paradise Point Estates is located at the brink of the beach with a private access for sufficient seclusion. The beachfront luxury rental is also air conditioned to ensure a five-star indoor/outdoor vacation. Guest rentals also include celebrity level security, a fitness center, and concierge service. You can even pay an extra charge for limitless services, for instance, professional chef services, catering services, in-home massage, and daily housekeeping.

The integrated fitness center, featuring state-of-the-art Life Fitness weight and cardio equipment such as the dumbbell rack, Smith Machine, Summit Climber, bike, elliptical, and treadmill, allows guests to keep with their workout routines. Other interesting luxuries include TV/Blu-ray player, an iPod dock, a refrigerator, hand towels, and a mirrored wall.

Visitors can take advantage of the complimentary concierge service for assistance with dining reservations, tee times, and arrangements for fun activities to enjoy on the island. The in-home massage, on the other hand, can come in handy for active guests to relax after a busy day of kite-boarding, swimming, or even walking along the beach. This can be arranged through the premises’ concierge, who will offer professional masseuses at your convenience (surcharged). Meals can be prepared at the inbuilt kitchen, but there’s a private chef at your disposal that can create tasty meals for a small celebration or gathering among family/friends.

If it was not implied before, Paradise Points Estate is a gated community where guests are moved from a secured entrance on the property to a secluded motor court. For additional security, the property is surrounded by a 6’ lava wall fence on all non-ocean view sides and is wired with a zoned alarm system. For guests who may need to travel to other islands in Hawaii while staying at Paradise Point Estates, the concierge can help with inter-island travel for volcano watching on the Big Island or sightseeing in Maui.

The first step into the premises is met by an extensive living quarters. The whole building was custom crafted with a personal touch of African mahogany carvings, natural stone tiling, stained glass, and etched windows. The Master Suite is ideally located to offer excellent views of the daily sunrise and the Kailua Beach. Inside the Queen bedroom is a plantation-style 4 poster bed, a desk, a walk-in closet, and a private bath. Each of the other bedrooms features a private bath with a shower, a TV, a walk-in closet, and a panoramic view of the lagoon-style courtyard pool and the estate gardens. In addition, there is a private patio/lanai area for those looking for some peaceful solitude. Outside, Paradise Point Estates presents the best of the Hawaiian lifestyle. It is equipped with an umbrella, beach chairs, beach towels, an outdoor shower, and tiki torches. The centerpiece courtyard boasts a heated lagoon style pool, as well as a pool pavilion with a posh island spa and tropical waterfalls.

Paradise Point Estates is said to have once been inhabited by Hawaiians as far back as 1500AD. The population was small but active, with their main economic activities being farming, hunting, and raising families. This iconic paradise was discovered in the sixteenth century by the kings of Oahu, who subsequently turned it into a social and political gathering spot for Hawaiian royalty. The land thrived from abundant crops like rice, sugarcane, and taro. Parents narrated folklore to their offspring, and the Kailuabeach even inspired the popular Hawaiian parting song “Aloha Òe”.

The vacation resort can be traced back to the mid-19th century, when a New England missionary settled and established a school in Kailua for the local children. Samuel Castle was barely 30, and turned out to have a significant influence on the island and its future. After joining the sugar industry, Castle decided to build an empire that would allow him to acquire the better part of the Kailua Basin, alongside the coveted landmark dubbed Paradise Point.

The heirs of Samuel Castle used the Kaneohe Ranch to raise livestock and advance the family enterprise. Over time, the development of Kailua Town became associated with the Castle name. Today, the beach community at the area is a spectacle of natural wonder. In the evening, you can observe the cooling shadow from Mount Olomana over the Kailua Town and the amazing Kawainui Marshland, which is flooding with wildlife and a beautiful walking trail. Embrace the Aloha spirit of optimism and acceptance through the active community with friendly citizens, magnificent schools, restaurants, and shops.
