You may recall the story of a man dressed as Batman getting pulled over in Maryland back in 2012. At the time the story made headlines because well, a man dressed as Batman on his way to visit sick kids in a hospital who happens to drive a Lamborghini is news worthy. Turns out he was actually pulled over because he didn’t have a license plate on the back of his car (batmobile). All he had was a Bat Emblem plate.
After verifying that the man owned the vehicle police let him off with just a warning so that he could go do good in the community. And do good, he clearly did. Often times when we hear of rich folks and their Lamborghini mobiles it’s certainly not to go visit sick children in the hospital. Rather it’s a lavish show to the masses.
Fast forward to today and unfortunately we’ve recently heard that the man driving that Lamborghini, 51-year old Lenny B. Robinson, was struck and killed by another motorist after his Lamborghini broke down on the highway.
According to sources, Robinson was having engine trouble and stopped “partially in the fast lane,” according to a state police news release. He was checking the engine when the Batmobile was struck by a Toyota Camry. The Batmobile then hit him. Batman will be remembered by all the lives he impacted, and the positive change he brought to the world.
