It all began when the first images of Supreme’s unconfirmed Jordan V collaboration leaked. Every single sneaker lover and box logo fan have been waiting for any kind of information about the new shoe. And the funny thing is that since the web store has been down pending the release of the Fall 2015 collection, it seems that the highly anticipated shoes will not be around for a little while longer. Probably at least a few months.
Even though Supreme isn’t a stranger to collaborating with Nike or just collaborating in general, being able to work with the Jordan Brand is a milestone for any shoe label. And despite crazy releases over the years like the Foamposite or the Air Force 1 during the brand’s 20th anniversary, neither of those actually made it into the stores because of such high demand.
Since release and price information on the upcoming Supreme x Jordan sneakers is scarce, the folks at Complex imagined a few collaborative silhouettes of their own which we simply had to share. Looking to past collaborations for inspiration, each of these Jordans is based on a previous Supreme x Nike shoe.
