Fiji is a removed archipelago located out in the South Pacific Ocean that is arguably one of the nicest locations for exotic vacations. There are over 330 different islands that make up Fiji, all of which are home to incredible beaches, lush forests, and premium resorts. Fiji is an extremely popular vacation destination for luxury travelers given how beautiful and remote it is. Since the islands of Fiji are so luxurious and sublime, naturally there are many amazing resorts and hotels to stay in. It can be difficult choosing which one to stay in when you visit Fiji, so we are going to take a quick look at five resorts that we consider to be some of the most luxurious and premium.
5. The Likuliku Lagoon Resort
TripAdvisor Score: 5 out of 5 Stars
Many of the islands in Fiji have barrier reefs that surround the islands that allow resorts like Likuliku Lagoon to exist. Take just one look at this resort, and you can see why we consider it to be one of the nicest within Fiji. The resort has won a few awards over the years and is primarily marketed for couples seeking a romantic getaway. You can choose to stay in one of the incredible villas located above the water or the equally luxurious villas located on the island itself. The Likulikue Lagoon Resort places a great amount of emphasis on relaxation. While they might not offer all the activities in the world, they have everything to ensure that your stay is nothing but pure bliss wrapped in comfort. The resort offers a premium spa, a fitness center, a bar/lounge, a fine dining restaurant, a pool, and of course private beach access. Its the ideal location for you and a loved one.

4. The Wakaya Club and Spa
TripAdvisor Score: 4.5 out of 5 Stars
Situated on its own private island, the Wakaya Club and Spa is a fairly large resort that has a bit of something for everyone. The resort offers a host of different activities and amenities that will appeal to those seeking adventures or for those that just want to kick back and relax. The real attraction of this particular resort is how large the complex actually is and that the fact that there are very few rooms. The island itself is 2,200-acres in total and dedicated solely to the resort while there are only just 11 premium villas and suites. The five-star property has all the features of a large resort like a spa, a few pools, beach access, a golf course, fine dining opportunities, access to a range of different activities, and much more. But again, there are only 11 rooms here so it is also very intimate. That means the Wakaya Club and Spa has all the attractions large resorts have, combined with all the features we love about boutique hotels. You really get the best of both worlds here.

3. The Westin Denarau Island Resort
TripAdvisor Score: 4 out of 5 Stars
For those seeking a more traditional resort experience, the Westin Denarau Island Resort is a great pick. It’s located right on the beach (obviously) on the 684-acre island of Denaru. It’s a five-star property, yet still fairly affordable compared to other resorts found in Fiji. There are 243 guest rooms and suites found throughout this award-winning resort, and all are luxurious in their own right. Since it’s part of the Starwood Hotel chain, you also have access to the nearby Sheraton Fiji Resort and the Sheraton Denarau Villas. This means that in addition to what the Westin Denarau offers, you have access to 14 restaurants, six pools, a variety of different beaches, a few spas, a golf course, and more. It’s modern, clean, luxurious, and traditional which makes it a very attractive location.

2. Shangri-La’s Fijian Resort and Spa
TripAdvisor Score: 4 out of 5 Stars
Shangri-La have established their brand over the years as a leading name is excellence and luxury, and pretty much all of their properties are incredible. The Fijian Resort and Spa is a massive, five-star property located on the island of Yanuca. It is constantly rated as one of the best resorts within all of Fiji, and you cannot go wrong when vacationing here. The resort offers 442 guest rooms and suites in total, and it really feels like a small town more than a resort. Like the other properties on our list, the Fijian Resort and Spa offers all the amenities and features that you could want in a premium beach resort: an expansive spa, 3 pools, large beaches, a golf course, a fitness center, a range of different activities (scuba diving, fishing trips, etc.), 6 restaurants and bars, an attentive staff, and much more. Fiji is really home to so many different great resorts and it may seem repetitive when talking about them, as they are all class-leading and absurdly luxurious, and the Shangri-La Fijian is no exception.

1. The Royal Davui Island Resort
TripAdvisor Score: 4.5 out of 5 Stars
The Royal Davui Island Resort is arguably the nicest and most luxurious property in all of Fiji. TripAdvisor rates this resort as the number one resort in Fiji, and it’s just absolutely incredible. It’s a seclusive, adults-only resort located on a small private island and it truly offers so much. This five-star resort has all of the features and amenities that you’d expect it to have (a spa, a few pools, fine dining restaurants, etc.) and much more. Accommodations here are only in the form of 16 private villas, which are essentially small homes. You’ll be paying top-dollar here, but it’s totally worth it. It’s easily the nicest resort that you can stay in when vacationing in Fiji and spend just one night here and you’ll see why.
