The Lamborghini Aventador Superveloce Might Blow Your Mind

Lamborghini Aventador Superveloce

The Lamborghini Aventador is by all means a terrific supercar: it’s fast, filled with modern automobile technology, lightweight, and it’s extremely exotic. But what if the standard Aventador is simply not enough to quench your thirst for owning the highest-performing car currently on the market? Well, that’s where the Aventador Superveloce comes in.

Lamborghini essentially injected the normal Aventador with steroids, and thus the Aventador Superveloce was born. Officially named the Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce, it’s currently one of the highest-performing Lambos that you can realistically buy (excluding those concept ones where they only make just three cars and each one costs $4 million). Lamborghini has turned a few of their production cars into Superveloce’s in the past, and this Aventador is the most recent one.

Remember the amazing Lamborghini Veneno, the three-of-a-kind concept supercar that Lamborghini made a while back? Well the Aventador Superveloce borrows the same absurdly large and noisy 6.5-liter V12 engine that delivers 750hp in total. That means that this car is just as good, and you can realistically buy it since they are producing 600 of these Aventadors. But act fast, as Lamborghini has already sold 500 out of the 600 units. And be sure to bring your checkbook, because it costs around $370,000 dollars. But hey, what did you expect? It’s a semi-limited Lamborghini that’s extremely supped up.

The fun doesn’t stop there. Not only is this Aventador Superveloce more powerful that the standard Aventador, it’s pretty much better in every single way. It’s 110 pounds lighter than the normal Aventador. It’s also 150% more aerodynamic, it has 170% more downforce, it offers a smoother ride, the gears shift faster, it steers better, and it accelerates faster than the standard Aventador among other things. It accelerates from 0 to 62mph in just 2.8 seconds, and has a top speed of 217mph which puts the vehicle in hypercar territory. It also has all of those premium features that we would expect a high-end Lamborghini to have: extensive use of carbon fiber, lightweight aluminum parts, a large spoiler, a 7-speed gearbox, a dual hydraulic circuit brake system with carbon-ceramic discs, an advanced computer driving system, and of course, an outrageously attractive and aggressive design.

So while the standard Aventador is a great vehicle by any standards, the Aventador Superveloce takes it up to an entirely new level. It’s essentially better in every way imaginable, which is why it’s more expensive and has almost sold out. Deliveries of the vehicle will ship in June, and again, there are only about 100 units that remain to be sold. So if you actually want to own one, you’re going to have to act fast.
