So you finally arraigned to take some time off from work and you’re looking to take a nice vacation with your family and friends. You know that you want to head to a tropical beach in the Caribbean somewhere, but aren’t quite sure exactly which island. Sure, there are plenty of resorts and hotels in the Caribbean at your disposal, but why stay there when you can rent out an entire private island for yourself? That’s right, provided you have the funds, there are many luxury private islands out there that you can rent out for a week or more. One such island would be Calivigny Island and if you want to stay here it will be $124,000 dollars per night, but is it worth it?
Located out in Grenada, Calivigny Island is a luxury private island that you can rent out for an amazing vacation. The island is 80-acres in total and is comprised of a complex of luxury villas, pavilions, spacious suites, and amazing cottages. In terms of vacation rentals, this is about as premium as it gets. You are essentially renting out both a resort and a private island, so what more could you possibly want?
In total, Calivigny Island offers a large master residence, three villas, and a beach house that has more room than you could ever possiblly need. Spread out through the complex there is a total of 25 bedrooms that can sleep 50 people all together, so your friends can even bring their friends along. There are a few pools, plenty of hot tubs to go around, and obviously some pretty amazing private beaches at your disposal.
Obviously at this insane price point, you’re going to get the best amenities imaginable. Each room of the various houses and villas are elegantly designed and filled with premium furnishings. The island pretty much offers every amenity imaginable that are at your disposal: entertainment centers, multiple living and dining rooms, an outside private theater, spa-like bathrooms, a grand piano, a billiards room, king-sized beds, a personal gym, marble floors, plenty of outside lounge space, and much, much more. Additionally when you rent the island out, a full-service staff is also at your disposal. From private chef’s to butlers, you will really be living in luxury when staying here.
The island is also not that far removed from the rest of civilization. It’s located about a five minute boat ride from the main island of Grenada and the nearest airport is in St. George’s. If you want a vacation rental to make you feel like a king, then this is really your best bet. So even though that $124,000 per night price tag is steep and only the ultra-rich can realistically afford it, when you consider everything that Calivigny Island has to offer, it is definitely worth staying here.
