The Moto 360 is Motorola‘s nice looking smart watch that features a classic and classy watch design while offering some truly innovative features that link up with their smart phones. The Moto 360 is very well built; featuring nice gorilla glass to cover the face display while also featuring a nice, soft, leather wristband. The watch features some pretty amazing technology that allows it to predict and display what information the user is going to be looking for before they can even open their mouth. It is operated through voice control and does a great job of transitioning the smart phone experience onto a watch.
The most recent Moto 360 to be released is a completely gold-toned edition that features stainless steel casing along with a matching wristband. The product is releasing this holiday season and features the first metal chain-linked wristband that is very nice. The company is aiming to display that these watches can also be seen as pieces of jewelry and high quality fashion accessories rather than a fancy way to operate a smart phone.
The golden Moto 360 will also come with their traditional leather straps that are interchangeable based on user preference or the situation in which they are wearing the device. The Moto 360 has a standard price of $250, but the new stainless steel models will bump the price up to $300, while the specific golden stainless steel product is going to be priced at $330. While the smart watches might seem extremely pricey, the competing Apple watches are expected to be priced around $500 for a stainless steel model. There are rumors that Apple is developing an 18 karat version of the watch that will have a price tag of $5,000 (although this has not yet been confirmed).
When comparing the Moto 360 watch to the speculated Apple prices, they are offering a fantastic deal for a smart watch made from high quality stainless steel. The company is also putting heavy focus onto the amount of apps developed to work with the smart watches, and recently came out with “Moto Body” which can track certain physical aspects of the user like heart rate, daily steps taken, etc. The Moto 360 smart watch is a great product and is definitely an amazing device for the price it’s being sold at.
