Jimmy Fallon Net Worth

Jimmy Fallon

Jimmy Fallon is an American television host, comedian, actor, singer, musician and producer with an estimated net worth of $25 million. Fallon’s career was launched as a cast member of Saturday Night Live. He now hosts The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

James Thomas Fallon was born on September 19, 1974 in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, New York. He is the son of Gloria and James Fallon, a Vietnam War Veteran. Fallon took interest in Saturday Night Live at an early age and began reenacting some of the parts. He was also musically inclined and started playing the guitar as a child.

Fallon began doing stand-up comedy in Poughkeepsie, New York that was focused around ‘troll dolls’. His success eventually led him to Los Angeles where he took improv classes. He appeared in some small roles in film in television, but his big break came in 1998 when he was summoned to New York to audition for Saturday Night Live while earning $7.50 a set doing improv.

Fallon’s big break came when he was recognized for his ability to do impersonations. He became a featured player on SNL for six successful seasons before leaving to pursue film. Some of his most notable characters include: Jarret (from Jarret’s room) – a stoner who hosts his own webcam show, Joey Mack – an obnoxious DJ, Nick Burns – a sarcastic tech support worker, Senor Guadalupe Ramirez – one of the guitar players on a recurring sketch poking fun at Antonio Banderas, and Barry Gibb – a talk show host with his brother Robin Gibb (played by Justin Timberlake).

As mentioned Fallon would transition to film, but his movie career never really worked out. He would feature in close to 15 films with lead roles in only a couple of them. He would predominantly be used as voice talent for animated films, which was a perfect fit for him.

Fallon caught another break when he was tabbed to replace Conan O’Brien on NBC’s Late Night in 2008. After several seasons as the host, Fallon got the gig he’d been waiting for replacing Jay Leno on NBC’s The Tonight Show in 2013. It’s been a rocky start for him as the host of the show as his ratings have suffered and some of his audience has migrated over to Jimmy Kimmel’s show. However, he still has a strong footing and NBC executives believe the show will return to glory after Leno’s departure.

Aside from his television and movie career, Fallon has gone on to host award shows, release comedy albums, and create and produce the NBC show Guys With Kids.Because of his new gig on NBC as host of The Tonight Show it’s easy to speculate that Fallon’s net worth will rise over the next few years. If the show begins to take off we expect to be reporting that Fallon’s net worth will almost double from where it is now. Currently, all of the above, which originated from his success on SNL, have lead to Fallon creating a strong net worth of $25 million.
