Professional sports today are the modern equivalent to the historical gladiator battles held in Rome; we cheer for and bet on someone to win or display their physical prowess while we eat, drink and relax from afar. It’s awesome, all sports are because we learn just how athletic people can be. People will pay big money to get the best seats in the house, but with what stadiums are offering these days, if affordable, these seats are worth it. Here are the five most expensive luxury suites in sports.
5. Platinum Executive Suites at Air Canada Centre – $287,000 – $465,000 per year
For that price the Platinum Executive Suites come with plenty of goodies besides getting to catch a Toronto Maple Leafs game from this great spot. The suites have a capacity of 10 people and are furnished with cherry-wood interior. Guests also receive very comfy seating in front of plasma televisions with wait staff always around as well as gourmet catering. These even get a special entrance that they can use before opening time and team merchandise delivered to the suite!
4. Washington Suites at Nationals Park – $400,000 and up per year
The Washington Suites look amazing; they have leather furniture, a marble top bar, two HD TVs, and an outside balcony to be closer to the game. Owners will also get four year round premium parking passes and are also guaranteed to receive early access to ticketing for concerts or shows taking place at Nationals Park.
3. Leslie’s Pool Zone at Chase Field – $6,500 per game
Chase Field offers a very cool luxury suite space with Leslie’s Pool Zone. It can hold up to 35 guests and can be rented out on a per game basis for $6,500 (comes out to around $525,000 per season). Fans can watch the Diamondbacks play while hanging out in the hot tub. The suite comes with a complimentary hat and towel for each guest and a concierge plus food catering.
2. Gillette Stadium Suites – $200,000 – $750,000
People are always coming to watch the Patriots play, and Gillette makes sure they take care of those who pay for the best seats. The suites here can fit between 32-70 people and offers premium parking, a private entrance, a very nice food menu, and the ability to gain early access to other ticketing offers. A neat perk of this suite is that owners will be the first allowed to purchase any available Superbowl tickets. The suit is well furnished with leather and granite counter tops and a fully stocked refrigerator.
1. Front Row of the Legends Suite at New Yankee Stadium – $2,500 per game
The front row of the legends suite is the most expensive because it is located directly behind home plate and closest to the field. It can fit between 12 to 32 people but the seats are $2,500 per game and can only be purchased at three, five, seven, and 10 year increments. You receive in seat wait service and free food and non-alcoholic beverages as well as access to a club and two dugout lounges.
