We post several articles daily highlighting various luxurious items around the world. Most of the time the stuff is cool to look at, but very rarely do we see something that truly burns us with jealousy. I can do without the jewelry, the cars and vacations, but Richard Branson just made a move that makes me insanely jealous of his incredible wealth.
According to reports, Branson is set to purchase a vineyard and hotel in South Africa. The British billionaire and investor is about to complete a transaction for Mont Rochelle Hotel & Mountain Vineyard in the South African region of Franschhoek. The region and vineyard have a storied history that dates back all the way to the 17th century. Aside from the majesty of the vineyard, the property boasts a 22-bedroom estate, fitness center, outdoor pool, Jacuzzi, wine tastings on horseback, golf and a local farmer’s market and chocolate factory.
The vineyard itself produces Sauvignon Blanc, unwooded Chardonnay, barrel-fermented Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz, and rose.

Branson is a billionaire and he has a property portfolio that is absolutely fantastic. Ranging from Necker Island in the British Virgin Islands, Ulusaba Private Game Reserve in South Africa, Kasbah Tamadot in Morocco, The Lodge in Verbier and Mahali Mzuri in Kenya.
Branson will close the hotel and reopen it in August. Set in a gorgeous hillside, it boasts 39 hectares of vinelands and will undoubtedly only get better with Branson at the helm.
