Rich and famous people are constantly being approached to speak anywhere; college graduations, corporate functions, you name it. The price to hear the words of these powerful figureheads varies in cost depending on their popularity and the demand there is for them to speak, but to talk for an hour or two, these people are making some nice money. Here are the highest paid speakers in the world.

5. Rudy Giuliani – $100,000 

Rudy Giuliani is the former New York City mayor who even took a chance at running for president in 2012. He was always a beloved mayor in the city of New York and now spends a lot of his time doing speaking for anyone that wants him. The former mayor was once paid $270,000 for a single speaking event, but reportedly brings in $100,000 per speech, which isn’t too bad at all for an hour or two of work in one day.

4. Alan Greenspan – $150,000 

Alan Greenspan used to be the chair for the Federal Reserve but has never stopped being a financial wizard. At 88 years old Greenspan is still traveling around and offering to speak, and plenty of people still seek out to hear the wisdom and knowledge that he possesses relating to finance. His highest pay for speaking was $250,000 from the Lehman Brothers company; however, his normal rate is $150,000.

3. Tony Blair – $200,000

Since finishing his time as the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Tony Blair has turned towards the professional speaking career to keep the money coming in. Blair has been pulling in millions a year to give speeches all over and was even paid $573,400 to give two 30 minute speeches. His normal price to speak is a minimum of $200,000, which is the same amount that Hilary Clinton requests in order for her to speak.

2. Bill Clinton – $450,000 

Despite his scandal while in office, Bill Clinton is still liked by a lot of people who would love to have him come speak at their event. Clinton can speak about a wide array of topics and brings a sort of odd fascination to his speeches due to his attitude and delivery. The most he’s ever been paid to speak was $750,000 in Hong Kong but his normal rate is $450,000.

1. Donald Trump – $1.5 Million

Donald Trump is a businessman, so it’s no surprise to see him asking for a massive amount to give a one hour speech. The man is always busy and sees time as money, so if you want to pull him from his schedule to come speak, it’s going to cost $1.5 million. Back in ’07 Trump gave 17 seminars which brought him a total of $25.5 million for only 17 hours of work. The man knows how to make money, and plenty of people would love to hear him speak with hopes of picking up a tip or two.
