Getting Inside the Rich Kids of Beverly Hills: The Cream of the Crop from Rich Kids of Instagram

Rich Kids of Beverly Hills

In yet another reality series that flaunts wealth, Rich Kids of Beverly Hills has swept the nation since it premiered on E! in January of this year.  The show, which is a spinoff of the popular Tumblr page “Rich Kids of Instagram,”  profiles the lives of five “kids” each of whom have been born into extraordinary wealth. They are essentially the “cream of the crop” of the famous Instagram page.   If any of you have seen the show you’ll know that it’s theme is exposing the reality of kids who love to show off their lavish lifestyles which have been given to them by their parents.   Even Magic Johnson’s son EJ has made an appearance on the show.  So who are these kids?  There are five stars and we wanted to tell you a little bit about each one:

Dorothy Wang:  Net Worth – $10 Million

Dorothy Wang

Dorothy is 25 years old and is the daughter of Roger Wang, a billionaire mogul, and CEO of Golden Eagle International Group, which specializes in real estate development, clothing and auto repair.  She currently has over 300K followers on her instagram account.   Wang gained notoriety for posting selfies on Rich Kids of Instagram.   She loves shopping on Rodeo drive and attending lavish costume parties.  Apparently she’s interested in pursuing a career in real estate with her father’s company. Golden Eagle operates dozens of department stores throughout mainland China. The company is publicly traded on the Hong Kong stock exchange under the ticker symbol 3308. The company which was founded in 1995, has nearly 5000 employees and a current market cap of $2.7 billion.

Morgan Stewart:  Net Worth – $5 Million

Morgan Stewart

Morgan’s instagram following is closing in on the 300K mark.  Morgan is 25 years old and is known for blogging about her lifestyle on her site (which we won’t even name here).   Stewart is in a relationship with fellow cast member Brendan Fitzpatrick.    Stewart has a penchant for blogging about famous celebrities as if she’s friends with them but there’s no conclusive proof that she is in fact friends with the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio or Ashton Kutcher.  In fact she’s never met them. Her father is a very successful architect with projects around the world. At one point Morgan toyed with the idea of attending medical school to become a doctor. She briefly studied communications at a college in New York

Brendan Fitzpatrick:  Net Worth – $500,000

Brendan Fitzpatrick

Brendan, 25, is the only cast member of the show who is actually “employed.” Fitzpatrick shocked his wealthy Bel Air family when he skipped college in favor of a career in real estate.   From what we know, his family was very much against his wishes to not attend college.  However, he closed his first $10 million transaction when he was just 19-years-old.  Brendan currently has a following of 53K on Instagram.

Johnny Drubel:  Net Worth – $800,000

Drubel tells people that he is looking for Mr. Right. He calls himself, an “over-the-top, outrageous, crazy person.” Drubel is known in public circles as a singer and songwriter. His songs have been performed on the likes of MTV and VH1. He describes his work as “writing and scoring music, taking classic pieces and making them [my] own while still honoring the intentions of the original composer.” Drubel graduated high school early. Roxy Sowlaty:  Net Worth – $100,000

Roxy Sowlaty

Roxy is 25 and is a freelance interior designer.  Sowlaty grew up in Beverly Hills and is the daughter of a wealthy Persian family that owns a printing business.  Sowlaty’s worry is that her allowance is going to be cut off.  Hopefully the 153K plus and counting Instagram fans get help get her interior design business going. Roxy has been working in design since the age of 16 when she started a clothing line with her sister Tara called RoxTar. Upon earning her undergraduate degree from USC’s Marshall School of Business, Roxy decided that she wanted to re-focus her design interests from fashion to interior design. She enrolled at the Parsons New School of Design to obtain her Master degree in Interior Design. During her time in New York, Roxy worked as a freelancer on a number of residential projects in Manhattan, as well as a home in Aspen.
