The 15 Richest Professional Golfers of All-Time

AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am - Final Round

Professional golf is an interesting sport. Interesting in that it quietly makes a large amount of money. Take the PGA tour for example – you know those quiet Sunday afternoons with the final round of the golf tournament on – well that golf tournament is a piece of close to a $2 billion dollar puzzle. Who would have thought right? As for the players themselves, well it’s pretty simple; win and you’re in. For the richest golfers in the history of the sport winning makes up a huge percentage of their net worth, but it’s those who go on to develop successful business ventures and build lucrative endorsement portfolios that really make a bundle.

Interestingly enough, you won’t find a lot of NFL or MLB players (current or retired) with a net worth quite like these professional golfers. The sport pays and a lot of it is endorsement money. Anyway, enough rambling on how lucrative professional golf can be if you’re successful, marketable and smart. Check out the Top 15 Richest Golfers of All-Time….
