When people have the opportunity to, they love to travel in style. That’s why you’ll always see people shell out big money for limos for special events. Well, people in Hong Kong have a new way to ride in luxury now, as the popular transportation company, Uber, is finally launching its private luxury car service in the popular city.

Uber made the big announcement via their blog on Wednesday. The company confirmed that actor Carl Ng and socialite Amanda Strang had both been a part of the “initial testing period” of Uber’s cars in Hong Kong, as the two of them had been seen getting into black “secret Uber” sedans earlier that day.

“In this city full of transportation choices, Uber brings a reliable, comfortable, seamless option to the mix,” Uber stated in the blog post. “Whether you’re rushing to get home from a long day’s work in Central, treating a special someone to a night at a gourmet private kitchen in Sai Ying Pun, or shopping in Causeway Bay, Uber is here for you.”

Uber is, for the most part, a high class, luxury taxi service that takes customers to whatever location they desire to go to. However, the company does allow its users to choose which car they would like to travel in from a variety of private four-person sedans via a mobile app. The cars that will intitally be available in Hong Kong as Uber services officially kick off include a Mercedes-Benz S-Class, Toyota Alphard, and Nissan Elgrand.

Uber originated in the San Francisco area but is now present in over 60 different major locations worldwide. The luxury transportation company is valued at an estimated total of $18.2 billion.
