California has one of the top luxury real estate markets and there are always properties being bought and sold. The latest mansion to hit the market was formerly owned by Kenny Rogers and has now sold for $46 million. The home is located in Bel-Air and is an insanely large property that could make anyone happy because there are infinite things to do.

The estate sits on a total of 24,000 square feet and was originally designed by the famous architect Paul Williams and earned its name of the Liongate Estate from the two massive lion statues that are perched at the entrance.

The home has two acres of all private land in Los Angeles, which is massive for the area. The mansion includes 11 total bedrooms, 17 bathrooms, a formal living room, a study, billiards room, 12 seat movie theater, and finally, a temperature controlled wine room.

All of the rooms in the home offer prime views out onto the countryside as well as the downtown city. The master bedroom is a total of 3,000 square feet in size and takes up the entire upper wing of the home offering the ultimate level of privacy.

The home also includes a guest house that includes 2 full sized bedrooms and two full bathrooms. There is a living area and kitchen and the guest house would be considered a full time residence for most people. The outside includes standard luxury features such as a large pool, fire pit, gardens, a gym, tennis courts, and even a ballroom. One of the property’s most unique features is it’s all glass elevator that transports guests to the outdoor areas.

The property is extremely nice and being such a huge estate it’s no surprise to see it be purchased so quickly. While $46 million is a huge amount, these grand types of homes are always coming and going in the Los Angeles area because it’s become such a desirable place to live.
