Jersey City, New Jersey Building a 95 Story Condo Building

Jersey City

New Jersey real estate is looking like it will soon see a boost with new plans from a Chinese developer to build a 95 story apartment building in Jersey City. The building would be located right on the waterfront and, if completed, will end up being the state’s tallest building. The building would be placed on 99 Hudson street and hopefully would boost the Jersey City community and people looking to move their with this new building full of luxurious condominiums.

The building would sit 950 feet tall and offer offer 760 available rooms for purchase. The building would tower over the current tallest, Goldman Sachs Group, building that is only 781 feet tall and only two blocks away. The Jersey City area is a place where people who want to avoid or can’t afford Manhattan look for real estate, but this new building would offer stunning views and aim to re-establish the town as a prime living location. Those interested would gaze upon the Statue of Liberty and the entire New York City skyline.

Prices of the apartments would vary, but the company plans on offering affordable housing to make sure they fill the building out. Locations such as Manhattan and Brooklyn are some of the most expensive to live within the entire United States, and Jersey City is hoping to give people the chance to experience the city without having to empty their pockets every month.

Currently just around 6,000 residential units are being constructed in Jersey City and 18,000 more are approved and in the process of being built. The city has noticed people taking interest and wants to capitalize on it. With the addition of this massive building and the many others planned to be built it could total revitalize the type and amount of people that come to live in Jersey City. Construction is planned to start at the end of June this year, and hopefully this building will be up and running shortly after.
