Givenchy Opens First US Location in Vegas

High-end fashion and style is something most men and women love, but until now, they haven’t been able to access their favorite designers just anywhere. Givenchy, a high-end designer for both men and women has been a favorite for years, but it’s only been available in the US online and in certain upscale department stores; until now, that is. Givenchy has opened its first store in the United States since the flagship store located in New York City closed in 2008.

Now anyone who wants to shop in Givenchy in person will have to make the trip to Las Vegas, stopping at the Wynn Resort Promenade, where it is located. According to CEO Sebastian Suhl, this is a major milestone for the company. What’s special about the Las Vegas location is not just the fact that it is the only US-based Givenchy store, but the fact that it’s designed to encompass the look of the Paris location on the Rue St. Honore. The upscale designer uses personalized boxes to send haute couture gowns to those who own them, and that’s the concept in the new store.

The boxes have been blown up to life-size rooms around the store. The sites uses marble to construct walls that feature the designer handbags and accessories, including shoes and smaller leather stands on stands made of brass. Available in the Givenchy Vegas location is the full men and women’s Givenchy collection, as well as three very special pieces.

Created and available exclusively at the Las Vegas Givenchy store are three red crocodile bags called the Shark Chain bags. They feature a red interior made of lambskin leather and gold hardware. The opening of the Vegas store is just the launching point for Givenchy’s US locations. This fall, a secondary location will open on New York City’s Madison Avenue.
