From June 16 to the 20th, tens of thousands of investors, developers and tech entrepreneurs will descent upon London for the 100 event mark of London Technology Week. Famous brands such as Microsoft and Google are slated to show off the fact that London is Europe’s digital capital. Each of the 100 events is different, with smaller sessions feature meet-ups, 20 people gatherings and events that will attract thousands of guests. The venues are spread across London and include locations such as Westminster and the Docklands.
“London is once again leading the way in tech. Reaching the 100 event mark is a fantastic milestone for London Technology Week and demonstrates how vibrant and extensive the London tech sector is right now. This is the first time that a major global capital has held a large scale tech event that spans an entire city,” says London & Partners Chief Executive Gordon Innes.
Keynote speakers from across the UK and the tech industry from around the world will speak at the 100 events. They will share not only their experiences in the fast-paced world of technology, but their insights as well. Eventbrite founders Kevin and Julia Hartz will speak at Internet World. Nick Holzherr, finalist on the reality show The Apprentice will speak at How to Fund Your Digital Startup.
As the different events and speakers vary greatly among the digital world, so do the venues in which they will be hosted. These venues include famous London locations such as Rainmaking Loft, Google Campus on Old Street and the West End’s Haymarket Theatre.
