Artist Turns Hermès Watches into 3D Art Pieces

Hermes Watch Art

For a limited time in select cities, the extraordinary work from Bethany de Forest will be put up on display, and all of the various pieces use high-end watches from Hermès. These three dimensional dioramas are a great example of how advertising and art can be considered one and the same. Bethany de Forest is a 48-year-old Dutchwoman whose work art is extremely unique and very interesting.

Those that are familiar with Hermès know that they are no strangers to art, and that they often find various artists to show off their product. Hermès even has their own art gallery in Singapore where they like to show off the work from various artists from around the world and their latest artwork to be featured comes from Bethany.

Various Hermès boutiques in Singapore will show off her artwork from now to March 16th, before the collection makes its way to Hawaii. Bethany de Forest combines a mixture of pictures, paint, mixed-media, and many Hermès watches to create her surrealist interpretations of nature and cityscapes. Each piece is extremely unique and displays high levels of attention to detail. There is a variety of different scenes within this collection where we see the Hermès watches being featured. One of the more notable pieces would be the one that depicts Paris, however we see multiple Eiffel Towers hanging upside down. In another piece, we see what appears to be the hand of King Kong extending out to grab one of the watches.

Bethany de Forest really creates these intricate scenes that just draw you in, and they feature many hidden details. Each part of her work is meticulously placed and arranged in specific ways. She even urges onlookers to pick out the tiny and hidden details within each piece, like frogs hanging out in the pond, for example. For both Hermès and Bethany, both get to show off what they do best.
