Quantum of the Seas Cruise Ship offers The Highest Robotic Technology

Royal Caribbean International is very close to releasing it’s super high tech cruise ship; the Quantum of the Seas. This megaship is scheduled to hit the waters sometime in 2015 and will really take certain cruise aspects to a new level.

The Quantum of the Seas’ technology is very high tech and state of the art. All passengers are given wristbands to wear when they board the ship that serve as a room key as well as allowing guests to make on-board purchases and even navigate the ship if you get lost.

On the ship there is also the “Bionic Bar,” where people place their cocktail orders through tablets while robotic bartenders make the drinks. The cruise ship also has a global video gaming suite that features online play from anywhere.

Each crew member is given a Windows tablet that has custom apps on it to keep track of passengers’ tastes and preferences when they eat. The ship has a high speed satellite internet that apparently is supposed to match the speeds of the best broadband connections. People on vacation still have some smart devices with them and like to be somewhat connected, and the Quantum of the Seas allows them to do that.

The Quantum of the Seas is taking cruises to a completely new level. The ship has everything guests could want to see and do, but takes it up a notch with the advanced technology and increased personalization for customers. On this cruise, people can have everything set up in advanced so that from the moment they set sail, their vacation will be fully relaxing.
